Easter
This Easter, you are invited to visit Bristol Shopping Quarter’s Woodland of Wonder, a new community art festival taking place in Sparks Bristol and John Wesley’s New Room from 3rd to 6th and 10th to 13th April (Wednesdays to Saturdays).
Produced by Broadmead BID (Business Improvement District) in partnership with The Methodist Church, John Wesley’s New Room, and Sparks Bristol, Woodland of Wonder celebrates the natural world and invites all ages to enjoy exhibitions and allow creativity to flourish with nature-themed craft workshops and photography walks, plus performances from stilt-walking trees! All activities will be FREE.
The event has been planned with sustainability, creativity, and the importance of trees at its heart, with schools and local groups encouraged to make trees for the exhibitions using recycled and sustainable materials. Visitors, especially those taking part in the photography walks, will be asked to look for nature in the heart of the city centre, and Sparks Bristol will play host to a specially commissioned piece of interactive artwork.
Photography walks will need to be pre-booked; everything else is drop in!
Remember! All activities are FREE.
