A Christmas Cracker: Greggs unveils its Christmas Menu

Greggs has unveiled its 2023 Christmas menu, with a host of festive fan favourites making a welcomed return, alongside some brand-new items including a vegan-friendly Spicy Vegetable Curry Bake.
From Thursday 9 November, the beloved Festive Bake will be returning to the menu nationwide, and fans looking for a vegan-friendly treat will be able to enjoy the delicious new Spicy Vegetable Curry Bake. The brand-new bake is made with mixed vegetables, chickpeas and rice with a sprinkling of chilies for some festive space, all brought together in a warming curry sauce.
Another new item being introduced to the menu is the Christmas Lunch Baguette – filled with chicken breast and sage & onion stuffing, with a dash of onion gravy, sweetcure bacon, Cheddar cheese, finished with a cranberry and onion relish.
Other much-loved favourites are making a return this year, including the Christmas Lunch Soup and Vegan Festive Baguette.
It’s not just savoury treats that are being added to Greggs’ revamped Christmas menu, with a host of new festively flavoured hot drinks on offer to give customers a seasonal pickup throughout the colder months. The all-new Orange Hot Chocolate and Orange Mocha will be available alongside festive favourites of Christmases gone by – the Mint Hot Chocolate, Mint Mocha and Salted Caramel Latte will all be returning nationwide from tomorrow. New customers downloading the Greggs App throughout the festive season will also be able to bag a free festive hot drink as a tasty welcome treat.
Despite the cold weather, iced coffee fans needn’t worry as the Salted Caramel Latte will be available over ice in selected shops across the UK*. (*Greggs Broadmead and Greggs @ Primark).
For customers with looking for a festive sweet treat, the brand-new Chocolate Orange Muffin is the perfect pairing with a festive hot drink, or as an afternoon pick-me-up, with further sweet treats set to be added to the Christmas menu in the coming week.
The menu announcement follows a buzz of excitement after Greggs surprised fans over the weekend with a spectacular Space Odyssey themed drone show above Greggs’ Gosforth Bakery in Newcastle, to mark the return of the iconic Festive Bake.
In the 8-minute drone show, measuring ten times the size of The Angel of The North, and twice the height of Big Ben, the stars well and truly aligned as a Greggs-inspired rocket launched into the galaxy from Greggs’ Gosforth Bakery. Taking an intergalactic route through the Greggs universe, passing classic menu favourites such as the iconic Sausage Roll and Sugar Strand Doughnut before the rocket voyaged on a journey beyond the classic Greggs menu – as the surreal combination of tasty planets align, the beloved Festive Bake appears to rotate in 3D, cosmic splendor.
In Bristol Shopping Quarter, you’ll also find Greggs in The Galleries and on The Horsefair.
