With the cooler months now upon us, it’s time to layer up with Emma’s latest collection with Next. Featuring effortlessly stylish pieces for your autumn wardrobe (all designed by the presenter herself) the latest range covers outerwear, loungewear, lingerie and denim in heritage-style prints with a decidedly classic feel.
Available in sizes 6-22, the collection is available to shop online now or in-store at Cabot Circus.
Embrace a soft palette for autumn
Unlike the bold and vibrant pieces in her previous collection, Emma’s latest edit features neutral block colours and subtle checked prints that are versatile and easy to pair.
“Two things I love are blazers and checks… so we’ve done a checked blazer!! And we’ve done it in two different types of checks!” says the presenter-turned-designer.
While the August collection featured bold power suits and paisley prints, this September range sees midnight black skirts and jumpers come together with dusky pink loungewear and sky blue denim in a brand new style that Emma loves:
“We’ve done a brand new shape of jean, they’re high and tight at the top so you feel nicely supported but cropped and loose at the bottom so your legs are FREE!”
It’s getting chilly – so wrap up warm!
Emma’s collection offers a range of pieces designed to keep you warm – from roll necks and long sleeves to padded jackets – perfect for this sudden hit of cold weather we’re experiencing.
These pieces are available in a range of staple colours (navy, brown, tan etc.) and are ideal for the transition from autumn to winter. Emma has also designed a brand new long khaki padded jacket for the cooler months:
“Last year’s puffer coat was really popular so we’ve decided to do it again but we’ve given it a little makeover! It’s slightly darker khaki, it’s got a bigger neck, bigger hood and we’ve also added in a black colourway!
CFH – cosy from home
In addition to winter coats and layers, Emma’s collection includes plenty of styles to keep you cosy when you are at home. Comfort has always been a priority for Emma when designing, and that’s why she’s created loungewear sets with soft fabrications and long sleeves. Available in black, grey and dusky pink, these sets are perfect for working from home or relaxing on a Sunday.
“We have done a few loungewear pieces this season, a two piece pink set, a comfy jumpsuit in black and grey and also a black knitted two piece – they’re awesome!”
Dress like you’re ready for anything
Emma’s autumn collection feels nostalgic with its heritage-style checked blazers and jackets – ideal for meetings, day trips or staycations.
For those working from home, chunky knitwear and wide leg trousers bring effortless style – even in the living room!
“We’ve revisited the chunky knit again this year in a lovely cream and a dark navy but we’ve made it shorter so it’s tuckable!”
The collection also contains pieces perfect for transitioning from day to night. One look we love is the leather ankle boots with the zebra tie neck dress which is bold and stylish for daytime meetings and evening gatherings.
