Lidl’s Christmas Toy Bank

Gift a toy at Lidl in Broadmead, Bristol Shopping Quarter this Christmas.

Lidl say:

Sharing in the magic of Christmas and bringing people together is what the festive season is all about, and at Lidl, we’re proud to bring this into our stores with the return of our Toy Banks on 1 November, in partnership with Neighbourly.

Through their Toy Banks, shoppers can donate unopened toys and gifts, from stocking fillers to something bigger. They’ll make sure your gift is donated to children in your area through their store partnerships with charities, food banks and community groups.

And to join your efforts, through their Lidl Community Fund, they’re donating £125,000 worth of grants to their Toy Bank charity partners, so they can purchase food to support people in need this Christmas.

You will find the Toy Bank near the exit in their Broadmead store, just past the tills. Donations, including arts and crafts, games, puzzles, books and toys, can be made at any time during opening hours until 16 December.

Shoppers are welcome to purchase a present in the store and place it in the toy bank as they leave. Customers may also take in any new and unopened toys to donate.

Neighbourly

By working with the network of Neighbourly, a giving platform, every Lidl store will be paired with a local charity so that customers’ donations will directly benefit children in their local community. Find out more about the work that Neighbourly does online.
