L’Osteria

L’Osteria is a local Italian restaurant serving simple good food in a cosy atmosphere. While some things have changed since 1999, the pizza’s are still perfect for sharing in an intimate surrounding. The flour, wine and Salsicia Picante are still Italian, and the heart of the restaurant is still the kitchen.

In Italy, several generations come together to eat around the same table. United in their love of life, appetite and passion for food. L’Osteria welcomes you into their famiglia and aims to recreate the feel and same great value with passion, personal service, generous portions and a warm welcome of a typical L’Osteria.

L’Osteria is steeped in stories shared around a table over a simple pizza and good wine. From food photographers overwhelmed by their pizzas to regular guests becoming long-standing guests.

In every L’Osteria sits a candle at the front door. It is lit first thing in the morning and only blown out when the last member of staff has left the restaurant. This is a tradition that dates back to the founder, Friedemann as a thank you to all staff for their hard work and a safe journey home.

L’Osteria aims to continue with serving the “best best pizza in town” and their “pasta d’amore”. As their saying goes “as passionate as Italy, as welcoming as your family, a tradition of high quality, that’s L’Osteria.
