The team at Lush Bristol in Broadmead are hosting their first ever Clothes Swap event in store after hours on Wednesday 19 June.
It takes up to 2,700 litres of water to make one t-shirt (goodonyou.eco); that’s enough for one person to drink for two and a half years!
Did you know that if we extend the life cycle of our garments by nine months, we can reduce the water footprint of our clothing by around 5-10%? Clothes swapping is a great way to achieve this while still being able to update your wardrobe!
How the Lush Clothes Swap works
Take your unwanted clothes to the store from Monday 10 June. They’ll give you a token for the number of items you donate so you can go along on the night, between 7pm and 8pm, and take what you like.
Entry is just £2, which (minus VAT) will go to the grassroots organisations supported by the Lush Charity Pot fund. You’ll also receive 2 x 10g pots of Charity Pot Hand & Body Lotion.
Ask in store for further details.
