Bristol Christmas Market
Bristol Christmas Market, with over 50 chalets home to an array of traders offering seasonal delights, crafts, and unique items as well as festive food and drink, opened on Friday 8 November and will run until Monday 23 December.
Favourites such as the Jäger Barn Bar and Bavarian Curling rink have returned.

Additional stalls featuring local makers and producers will be added from Friday 29 November.
Cabot Circus Christmas Grotto
If you’ve been good this year then hurry down to Santa’s Grotto…
Santa and his elves will be ready to meet your little ones from Saturday 9 November until Monday 24 December, in a magical wonderland located on the Upper Ground floor next to Pret a Manger.
It costs just £5 to visit Santa and each child will receive a free age-appropriate gift. If you’d like to book, please click HERE. When booking online, you can also personalise your child’s visit by informing Santa if your little one should be on the good or the naughty list or anything you think Santa should know about!
Grotto Opening Times
The grotto is open on weekends throughout November and daily from 1 to 24 December:
Monday – Friday 11:00 – 18:00
Saturdays 10:00 – 18:00
Sundays 10:00 – 18:00
Christmas Eve: 11:00 – 16:00
Adapted Santa Experience
For children with additional needs such as autism or other sensory conditions, they have scheduled quiet sessions to ensure queuing times and loud noises are kept to a minimum, please find these times below.
Christmas Grotto Quiet Session schedule:
Tuesday 18 – Friday 21 December, 11am – 12pm
Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 December, 10am – 11am
Maximum of 3 x family slots available online per 30 minutes.
Max four children per booking
They also do not accept bookings in the first 30 minutes and last 60 minutes of each day to assist with queue management.

Bristol Etsy Team & Bristol Girl Bosses: Winter Pop-up Shop
After the incredible success of their 2018 Winter Pop-up Shop, Bristol Girl Bosses and Bristol Etsy Team are joining forces again this year to bring you round two this Christmas!
Located next door but one to Waterstones on the first floor of The Galleries, the Winter Pop-up Shop will be open seven days a week until their last trading day of the year on 22 December.
Everything in the shop will be designed and handmade by Bristol artists and makers so please go along and support their mission to make Christmas shopping meaningful, independent and local.

Snow House Bar
The Snow House Bar is coming to Bristol for the first time this November, bringing with it six luxury Snow Domes, a wide selection of festive food and drink and a stylish, romantic, winter-esque setting in which to enjoy the festive season.
The exclusive pop-up bar will be situated in Quakers Friars at Cabot Circus Shopping Centre from November 22nd until December 22nd.

Elves Workshop at The Galleries
A dedicated team of Christmas are elves are moving into The Galleries Shopping Centre this Christmas, to host a series of free elf-inspired events, where little ones can learn all the vital skills it takes to work with Father Christmas.
Starting on Saturday 7 December and running every weekend until Sunday 22 December, the Elves Workshop will be taking place at the centre between 11am and 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Each session will offer a different activity, giving little ones the chance to see what it really takes to be Santa’s assistant.
Pre-bookable sessions will be available.

The city’s coach park is at Bristol Fruit Market where there are marked spaces for up to 20 coaches but room for more if there is demand. The site has 24-hour security and facilities for drivers, including an on-site café and toilets.
Drivers MUST book their coach parking in advance by telephoning 0117 9771655 (24 hours). The cost is £12 for up to 24 hours parking and you can book up to a few minutes before arrival.
Please note the coach park is unsuitable for passenger pick-up or drop-off.
